The Souriau motorsport Connector range is fast becoming the preferred connector of choice in some race teams over the previously used Deutsch Autosport Connector. 8STA conectors.

The Souriau Motorsport Connector uses metal retention clips for superior quality - where the Deutsch Autosport Connector uses plastic moulded tine retainers, which are far more vulnerable to breakage or failure.

The Deutsch AS Micro range was historically used where space is tight - however the Souriau size 2 and size 4 connectors are now the smallest and preferred connector of choice compared to the deutsch AS Micro connector.

The Deutsch Double density connector offered greater density layouts - but with Souriau product range offering even greater density - this will improve the situation over the Deutsch Double Density connector.

The Souriau Motorsport connector range includes Fuel tank and Hermetic connectors, available ex stock from Filcon - removing the need for Deutsch Fuel Tank Connectors often with longer lead times and higher prices.

The Souriau Fuel Tank / Hermetic connectors offer more planform configurations when compared to Deutsch Fuel tank or Hermetic Connectors.
